Part 148. Robin seems to have inherited the Chinese food bug from her father as she eats a meal with the Ancient One. She tells the Ancient One about the “Chinese pizza” she had earlier. The Ancient One asks her about her grandmother’s name but Robin evades the question by telling him that she’s tired. Robin overhears the Ancient One saying that without the pearls, his people are doomed. Robin flashes back to when she took the pearls out of the Buddhas and stuck them in Cindy’s eyes. (Ok, I still think it’s pretty gross she just pokes them in…) The Ancient One checks on Robin but she still can’t tell him who her grandmother is. A frazzled Felicia tells Bobbie about Edward and Jimmy Lee’s tactics. Bobbie laughs and offers Felicia…tea. Sean and Frisco listen to Wu talking on the phone. Sean has no idea what’s going on. Sean doesn’t like the fact that Wu seems so confident.
Part 154. Robin asks the Ancient One if he’s ok and if he’s sad about the pearls. (He doesn’t know they’re back in the buddhas). He says that helping her has taken the bitter taste out of his mouth. Robin tells him that he should sleep for a while. She asks him if anybody other than God can create miracles. He says he believes God works through people. As the Ancient One drifts off to sleep, Robin sneaks out. When the Ancient One wakes up, Robin has laid out a feast of Chinese food and hot tea. She snuck out to get it. (How did she pay for it????) This scene is really cute…especially when Robin says she couldn’t wait and ate her food already. Robin surprises him with the pearls. She tells him that the pearls were in Cindy’s eyes. Robert is at GH trying to find Buzz and Anna. He meets with Derek and Jake so that they can find a legal way of delaying the sale of the cannery to Wu if the Ancient One doesn’t show up with the payment. He tells Derek about Wu’s hold on the people. Derek and Jake look into a legal way to postpone the sale to Wu after they hear about Wu’s criminal ways.
