Crow Ridge Productions Rapid City, SD, Festival on the Lawn at Black Forest Inn
Black Forest Inn, Rapid City, SD was host to the first “Festival on the Lawn” in June, 2009. Crow Ridge Productions owners Chris and Rick Van Ness provided the sound equipment and technical services for this outdoor event that featured premiere artists in sculpture, marble, and bronze; Native American Mens Traditional Flute & Dancing; local Songwriters and Singers performances; and good food, drink, friends, and enjoyment for all people that attended. Chris Van Ness, President of Crow Ridge Productions, Rapid City, SD spoke with interviewer Kathy L. Swensen at the “Festival on the Lawn” about her company’s services to the Film Industry. Ms Van Ness said that her company has helped Disney, Discovery Channel, History Channel, and a Japanese Car company – find filming locations, provide video & audio equipment, and assistance for their filming and sound needs. Van Ness especially liked her company’s work on behalf of the movie “National Treasure” by Disney, filmed near Mt Rushmore, Black Hills, South Dakota. Van Ness also expressed her gratitude for Black Forest Inn hosting the “Festival on the Lawn,” in the Central Black Hills, SD.
