Soaking seeds & nuts begins their growth process which are in abeyance during storage due to enzyme inhibitors. Enzyme inhitors are released through soaking & proteins are converted into amino acids & fats into essential fatty acids. This renders these foods more digestible & bioavailable. We also soak seeds & nuts before culturing them, a process which produces probiotics which are beneficial to overall & especially intestinal health. Soaked seed & nut yogurts & cheeses are exceptional foods.
Yess!! More recipes. Love it!
@Mediterran23 Google “sprouting soaking seeds nuts”, w/o quotation marks. Voila!
GOOGLE soaking/sprouting chart ok. I tried to put a link for a good one here but it won’t let me.
kauguy100: I feel every human is different. I need my germinated & cultured seeds & nuts. Lots of people that live to be 100-150 years germinate & culture nuts & seeds. When turning on the masses to raw foods, tasty cuisine that duplicates meals they are used to is a gateway for a lots of them. They will find out what works best for them. Eating no nuts & seeds works best for you but for my digestive system I need them. It’s an individual thing, there is NO ONE WAY in this life.
HEy brothas and sistas can i ask if anybody can tell me how to soak nuts and seeds to release enzyme inhibitors..and how to make them sprout..and another thing – are there specific times for every sort of seed and nut or is there like a general rule.
much love and respect
Primates living in an intact habitat do not eat nuts and seeds. Not only are they too high in Phosphorus, and protein, for humans, but also by eating them we deny them the right to life as a plant. It is as if we are aborting them. I do not have the right to decide who lives and who dies. I cannot eat seeds.
Doug
Nuts and seeds are high in Phosphorus and not in tune with Human physiology. First time I have ever given Dan the man less that 5 stars.
Doug
