Hmm… I would fill my taiyaki with meat. Like gyoza… Tasty!
@cellogirljenn That’ss actually pretty much the same question I was going to ask…I wanted to substitute the white beans with azuki beans beans, but following the same method…anyone know if it would be the same, of ir there would be different instructions?
That’s amazing! I love all of your videos! And you’re a really good cook!
This looks delicious! I love this channel. <3<3
Ummm….The poodle? He’s French, of course.
ビデオにありがとうね~! :3
がんばります!!!
i dont have cake flour or a fishy pan :C
umasou!
wow that was a lot of sugar.
I was like, “WOW I can smell it cooking!” but then I realized my mum was making something else downstairs. Silly me.
There is actually taiyaki ice cream that’s sold. From the looks of it, they make a thin layer of the two sides of the fish, then just put some ice cream and red bean in the middle like an ice cream sandwich. o:
I can imagine making it yourself at home will be messy though.. *.*
Can you change the white bean paste to red bean paste? Great recipe, and where is the narrator from? He has a cool accent.
n.n i am so guna make some…once i get a taiyaki pan xD
はは~~!!犬のおんせいすごいかわいいね!!
Francis seems to like it too.
u iz helpful
@astritch Thanks! I tried to find it on Ebay a couple of years ago… I’m going to look for it again
@anabellik – my point is mainly that cookingwithdog is nice enough to post japanese recipes online, in English, for non-Japanese people to enjoy.. it gets irritating to see so many people complain about the dog or say the recipe is bad.. i don’t understand what is so hard about tweeking it to fit your taste. you don’t have to complain about it. it’s very disrespectful and ungrateful, and that irritates me. so sorry for being mean to you, but in my eyes, you were being rude, so i was mean in turn
@anabellik – i don’t know. i used to live in korea & would eat hodu gwaja (walnut cakes) a lot. they’re similar to taiyaki, except smaller, shaped like a walnut & the bean paste has walnuts in it (sometimes).. they weren’t very sweet.. if i was making it myself, i’d know to not put so much sugar. if you want more of a beany taste, use less sugar, if you want more sweet, add more sugar. it also depends on what kind of beans & sugar you use, but if it seems like a lot, use less. simple.
@honeycat193 – all i typed was taiyaki pan, and google brought up like 10 stores that sell the pans & amazon was the first one listed. what did you search for? i even found one where you can make taiyaki in the microwave in 100 seconds @ japan trend shop. on ebay they have them for 16.99+ 9.99 shipping. jstyleliving also has taiyaki pans.
